On Saturday 3 August 2013, the Wedu team is coming to the Law Faculty at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Wedu will share it’s programming to the institution’s female students from Cambodia and Myanmar. This will be a great opportunity for students to learn more about how they can receive the mentorship and financial support for their academic success, as well as building their leadership skills for their future development.

Wedu is a social enterprise working on empowering young women from Myanmar, Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh to become leaders and masters of development in their home communities. Wedu’s key areas of work are providing inspirational mentorship and financial support to remarkable students to access quality higher education.

Students can expect to learn the details of the opportunities to be gained with the support of Wedu. The students will also benefit from meeting a mentee, we call our mentees Rising Stars, as well as couple of our mentors.

Wedu’s University Outreach starts at 10am and ends at 12 noon, and it promises to be a very informative two hours at Chulalongkorn University.
