06 Aug Jeba’s Rising Star Journey

I’m Jeba Anika Paula from Bangladesh. I’m a third year Public Health Studies student at Asian University for Women and a self-proclaimed expert on the Harry Potter world. My internship at Wedu has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’ve worked on developing a new elective for my fellow Rising Stars which will increase their financial independence. The biggest challenge of this internship was to be able to develop an elective that can uphold Wedu’s mission and vision of empowering women. Watching the elective taking form and finally being available to the Rising Stars is my most favorite part of this journey. Now Rising Stars will take charge of their own personal or academic finances along with developing their leadership qualities. Wedu has given me this opportunity to contribute to the community which inspires me every day and I’m more than grateful.
