Education Funding

Through our Income Sharing Agreements (ISA) programme, we offer affordable, accessible, and flexible stop-gap financing solution for women seeking to advance their educational and leadership journeys.

Wedu is the longest standing and most experienced operator of Income Sharing Agreements in Asia – and the only women-centred one.

What are Income Sharing Agreements?

Income Sharing Agreements (ISA) are flexible education funding agreements that allow women to receive up to US$5,000 to fund their academic studies or skills training.

Once women graduate or complete their training and start earning, they pay forward a portion of their income over an agreed number of years to finance the education of future generations of women.

(The ISA programme was formerly called FISA, as referred to in the video.)

Partner with us and make women's education the norm

We are looking for both funding partners to grow our funding pool, and outreach partners who, through their networks, help us distribute funds to more women in the region.

What makes our ISA unique?

Income-Based Structure

Repayments are only required when you are employed or earning an income. This ensures that you’re not burdened by repayments while you’re still studying or facing financial challenges.

Non-Discriminatory Funding

ISAs do not require collateral or guarantees, making further education accessible to a broader range of women seeking educational and career advancement opportunities.

Flexibility

ISAs are flexible in terms of customised repayment plans, and by covering a wide variety of educational opportunities, not limited to university degrees.
